Race-ready hull tuned for smooth tracking

The Kyosho EP Air Streak 500 is aimed at paddlers who want fast, predictable performance straight away. This electric Ready Set arrives pre-built so you can focus on trimming and learning the handling rather than lengthy assembly.

Sleek V-hull for confident handling

The hull profile sheds water efficiently to reduce resistance and keeps the bow settled when carving turns. A flip-up rudder protects against snags and helps preserve steering components during incidental contacts.

Cooled 540 motor and precise radio control

With a water-cooled 540-class motor, the Air Streak 500 maintains consistent power under load. The KT-3DX 2ch radio provides clear steering and throttle response, and the turn fin helps stabilise the boat through sharp course changes.

As a straightforward, high-speed electric hull, the Kyosho EP Air Streak 500 suits both newcomers wanting an easy start and experienced flyers seeking a dependable runner.

The V-hull is forgiving, so it copes with light chop and wind chop, but extreme chop will reduce top speed and make control harder.
Fine-tuning end points and expo on the steering channel can soften input and make the boat track cleaner through turns.
Inspect the prop, shaft and screw after each session for wear or damage, and lubricate moving parts periodically to prevent corrosion.
The boat uses a single standard servo as supplied in the RTR kit; replacements should match torque and physical size for a direct fit.
