The Kyosho OL026B slipper pad is intended as a replacement friction interface for the slipper clutch on Outlaw Rampage PRO 2.0 trucks. It sits between the motor pinion, spur gear and the slipper clutch hub to help regulate slip onset and reduce shock loads through the drivetrain.
Fit and function: the pad is fitted where the slipper clutch contacts its mating surface; once the pad shows wear, engagement can become erratic and swapping in a new pad restores consistent performance. Inspect the slipper hub and washer arrangement, clean contact faces and follow the chassis service steps for Outlaw Rampage PRO 2.0 when refitting.
Tuning role: swapping pad materials or replacing worn pads is an effective way to refine engagement for different track surfaces and launch conditions. Combine pad replacement with checks of spring preload, nut torque and gear mesh to optimise behavior.
