The Kyosho OT252R Red Wing provides a tidy aerodynamic improvement for the Javelin platform, aimed at improving stability without fuss. Its sturdy build and straightforward mounting make it a sensible upgrade for club and hobby racers.

Compatibility and Body Prep

Although tailored to the Javelin, the wing can be adapted to the Optima chassis with some body work. When fitting to an Optima you will need to create openings in the body shell to accept the wing stay (OT250). The stay uses a pin-style mount so the wing can be detached quickly for cleaning or paint work.

Stability Gains at Speed

The OT252R is designed to add noticeable rear downforce, which helps traction and steadies the car through fast corners and blasts down the straight. It is a good choice if you want a more planted rear end without major setup changes.
