This part is made to fit the 87WC OPTIMA Mid chassis. Older or different Optima variants may not share the same mounting points, so double check compatibility before buying.
The finish is mainly cosmetic and protective; it does not noticeably alter the part weight or handling characteristics for typical RC use.
Basic hobby tools are sufficient: hex drivers, pliers and a screwdriver. Keep servo neutral and test steering travel after fitting.
