Stiffen Your Optima Mid Rear End with Carbon Fibre

For modelers wanting a tougher rear shock mounting solution, the Kyosho OTW137 replaces the stock FRP stay with a CNC-machined carbon fibre unit. It is crafted to give tighter control and greater longevity in busy club or backyard circuits.

Engineered for Tough Conditions

Manufactured from 3mm carbon fibre plate, the Kyosho OTW137 Rear Shock Stay is laid out to resist bending under load. Precision CNC machining ensures repeatable fits and helps keep suspension geometry consistent lap after lap.

Why Carbon Fibre Works Well Here

Carbon fibre brings stiffness without much added mass, which helps keep unsprung weight low and improves the car's reaction to bumps. Swapping to the Kyosho OTW137 can reduce flex at the shock pick-up and prolong the life of nearby components.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This stay is made for the Optima Mid geometry. Some other Kyosho cars might need spacing or hole changes to accept it, so check measurements first.
Yes. CNC machining gives consistent hole placement and flatness, which helps alignment and reduces the chance of binding in the suspension.
Use the same size screws and washers as the OEM stay. Nylon washers can protect the carbon from direct metal contact and help distribute load.
You will notice firmer response and reduced rear flex, which translates to crisper turn-in and more consistent rear traction on worn surfaces.
