The Kyosho R246-1332B front spring mount provides a simple way to fine tune preload on the Mini-Z MR-03W chassis. It supports 0mm, 0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm options so you can match spring preload to track grip and driving preference.

Quick Changes To Spring Tension

With this mount you can alter front spring tension quickly to influence turn-in and mid corner stability. Swapping shim thicknesses is an effective way to tweak handling without swapping springs.

Designed around wide tread configurations, the R246-1332B helps keep the front end stable at speed and during heavier cornering, particularly useful on flowing circuits.

What effect does more preload have?

Increasing preload makes the front ride firmer and reduces initial dive, which can improve turn-in but may reduce grip on very low traction surfaces.

Yes, it works with standard Mini-Z springs. Use the mount to fine tune how the spring behaves without changing the spring rate itself.

Any tips for track testing?

Make one small change at a time and run consistent laps. Note how the car behaves mid corner and on exit to decide if more or less preload is needed.
