Tomahawk Servo Plate — LCG ST Low Mount

This LCG ST servo plate comes as an FRP replacement tailored to the Tomahawk 85WC platform and may be used on Scorpion-series chassis sharing the same servo bay pattern. It lowers the servo mounting plane to improve internal packaging and help keep steering linkages compact.

Functionally the plate sets servo height and fore-aft position while tidying linkage runs to keep steering geometry consistent as you tune the car. FRP construction yields a light, semi-stiff support ideal for touring and other on-road use where weight and predictability matter.

Fitment advice: verify the Tomahawk 85WC servo bay hole pattern prior to finalising installation, relocate or drill mounting holes if necessary, and ensure the receiver and ESC leads clear the plate. Use the correct screw type to protect threads and re-centre the servo horn after fitting to avoid unintended preload.

Yes. By lowering the servo plane the plate can alter linkage angles and servo leverage slightly, so re-check travel and endpoint settings after installation to keep steering response consistent.

Is FRP durable enough for regular track use?

FRP offers a balance of light weight and semi-rigidity suitable for touring applications; it handles normal loads well but will not be as stiff as aluminium if extreme rigidity is required.

Any wiring clearance tips when installing the plate?

Route receiver and ESC leads clear of the new plate profile before tightening, and use cable ties or adhesive mounts to keep wiring tucked away from horn movement and linkages.
