Is the TFW111 interchangeable with other tie rods?

It is optimised for the TF-5 Stallion. You can compare ball cup spacing and thread sizes if attempting to fit other models, but interchange is not guaranteed.

Do I need special tools to fit this part?

Standard RC tools like hex drivers and pliers will suffice. Take care to set toe correctly after installation to avoid abnormal tyre wear.

Can I repaint or anodise it?

As an aluminium part it can be refinished, but surface treatments affect fit and threading, so proceed carefully and test fit before final assembly.
