Lightweight Carbon Rear Arms from Kyosho UMW742B

The Kyosho UMW742B Carbon Composite Rear Suspension Arm Set is aimed at hobbyists and racers who want to reduce rotating mass on the RB7 chassis. Built from carbon composite, these arms aim to improve turn-in and mid-corner stability without adding fragility.

Why Carbon Composite Helps Handling

Carbon composite lowers unsprung weight while retaining stiffness, which can speed suspension response and improve tyre contact. The UMW742B arms use this property to give RB7 setups a sharper feel on technical layouts.

Fits the RB7 Without Modifications

Manufactured to the RB7 specification, the UMW742B installs in place of standard arms. That plug-and-play fit saves time and keeps alignment options intact for quick trackside changes.

Suitable for Track and Club Racing

Racers who prefer a crisp steering edge will find the UMW742B helps maintain control during corner exits and quick direction changes. The material choice also improves resistance to wear in routine racing conditions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They fit the RB7 mounting layout, but heavily modified chassis geometry may require setup checks; some bespoke conversions might need minor adjustments.
Reducing unsprung mass can alter damping feel, so expect to fine tune shock oil and spring rates after fitting the UMW742B to find the right balance.
Keep them clean of grit, inspect pivots regularly, and avoid hard impacts. Tighten mounting hardware to specified torque to prevent stress points.
