The Kyosho UMW748 Short Steel Differential Shaft Set is made for the RB7SS to deliver improved toughness and predictable handling on low to mid grip surfaces. These shafts are a sensible upgrade or replacement when you want reliable driveline behaviour at the track.

Constructed from durable steel, the UMW748 shafts resist wear under regular use and reduce replacement frequency. That solid construction helps racers stay competitive across varied track conditions without constant part swaps.

Engineered for Low to Mid Grip Conditions

Set up for low to medium grip, the shafts assist with maintaining traction and directional stability. Swapping to this set can sharpen steering response and make vehicle behaviour more consistent during heats.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No modification is expected for RB7SS installations. Fit them following the chassis instructions and confirm clearance with related drivetrain components.
Keep diff bearings clean and lightly greased, check for bends after impacts, and replace if scoring or excessive wear appears on the shaft surface.
They are optimised for low to mid grip. On very high grip tracks you may prefer alternative tuning or parts tailored for those conditions.
