No special tools are normally needed. Standard RC hand tools used for V-One R4 assembly are sufficient, though a fine screwdriver and thread locker may be helpful during reassembly.
A stiffer case can lead to crisper gear engagement and slightly less flex, which some drivers notice as a firmer drivetrain response. Tuning of diff internals will still control slip characteristics.
After installation it's wise to run a few light sessions to check mesh and bearing alignment, then recheck fasteners. Normal running-in under gentle loads helps confirm correct setup.
