Stiffer Aluminium Servo Brackets for DT-02

The Tamiya 54397 Aluminum Servo Mount set replaces the factory plastic brackets on the DT-02 chassis with durable aluminium parts, creating a more dependable servo mount. This upgrade is suitable for hobbyists wanting better steering control without complex mods.

Reduce Flex for Cleaner Steering

Aluminium mounts significantly cut down the flex found in the original plastic components, which leads to cleaner steering inputs and steadier handling. The tougher construction is built to last through regular running sessions.

Adjustable Positions for Steering Setup

With two mounting holes the design lets you alter the Ackerman angle to match your setup preferences. This adjustability helps dial in steering balance across different grip levels and tyre choices.

Actually bought these to replace the broken plastic ones on my Vintage Madcap and they fit perfectly. Lovely quality, would highly recommend them!

Thanks RCJaz, I received my order today and everything is spot on. Very happy, will definitely order from you again.
No modifications are normally required; the mounts are made to fit DT-02 chassis mounting points directly.
Most kits include the necessary screws, but check the product list for the exact hardware supplied before ordering.
The mounts keep standard servo spacing for DT-02, so your existing servo should fit as long as it was compatible with the original brackets.
Aluminium resists wear and warping better than plastic, so you will typically spend less time replacing mounts and more time running.
