7075 Aluminium Guard for PROMO-MX

This aluminium chain guard is an RC-scale replacement part made for LOSI PROMO-MX motorcycles, offering a firmer option than standard plastic covers. Machined from 7075 aluminium, the component focuses on protecting the chain and adjacent components during regular runs and setup work.

Installation uses the stock LOSI mounting points and the provided fastener pattern, so no chassis modification is required. The guard helps keep the chain aligned under load, supporting consistent drivetrain reaction while you tune and test the bike.

Is any chassis trimming required?

No trimming is necessary; the guard is designed to bolt onto the original LOSI PROMO-MX mounting points using the supplied layout.

Will this affect chain tension?

The guard itself does not change tension, but by reducing flex it helps the chain maintain alignment which can improve perceived drivetrain consistency.

Can I use it with aftermarket sprockets?

Yes, as long as the sprocket and chainline remain within LOSI standard dimensions the guard will still mount and protect the chain area.
