Heavy-duty 7075 aluminium swing arm for PROMOTO-MX

Made to suit LOSI PROMOTO-MX machines, this swing arm carries the model code MX057A. Constructed from 7075 aluminium, the metal arm is a tougher alternative to the factory plastic component and improves stability under off-road loading.

The design is prepared for larger inner bearings and includes the supplied 8x16x5 bearings so the hub will accept the bigger size without further parts. Fitting the arm allows a modest alteration to wheel travel (noted as +1mm) while maintaining use of the original chain tensioner system.

Adjustable lengthwise mounting makes chain tensioning quicker when changing sprockets or making trackside tweaks. The kit's hardware covers normal mounting and bearing installation for a straightforward swap.

Does it keep the stock chain adjuster?

Yes, the arm is compatible with the original chain tension adjuster so you can continue to use the factory method for tightening the chain.

How much extra wheel travel is introduced?

The installation notes an approximate +1mm change in wheel travel versus the stock plastic arm; this is a small adjustment but worth noting before setup.

What bearing size does it use?
