Front brake pads suited to PROMOTO-MX

This front brake pad kit is built for LOSI PROMOTO-MX motorcycle kits and RTRs, using a metallic friction mix of copper, bronze and iron to improve thermal transfer and wear life. It serves as a direct replacement and a tuning choice for riders wanting to alter brake bite or fade characteristics on track or practice rides.

Fitting follows the standard PROMOTO-MX procedure: remove wheel and caliper, replace the pads, then refit the spring and caliper with the original fasteners. After refit, check pad clearance and lever feel then run a few light braking cycles to bed the pads to the rotor for steady stopping behaviour.

Do these pads change the bike feel?

They can alter initial bite and fade behaviour compared with stock pads, making braking feel firmer under repeated use. Expect a short bedding-in period.

Any special break-in routine?

Use a series of gentle stops to seat the material, then progressively increase braking intensity. Avoid long hard stops until the pads are bedded.

Are replacement springs included?

Yes. The kit includes the special spring shown in the packing list and installs with the stock fasteners.
