Soft lower A-arm spring suited to R12 front setups

This ultra soft lower A-arm spring is intended for front suspension tuning on Yokomo R12 and related GT-series cars. The design reduces initial spring rate at the lower arm to soften the front feel while keeping suspension geometry intact.

Use the spring to enhance mechanical grip where traction is limited; the softer characteristic smooths weight transfer and can reduce snap steering. For consistent results, rework damper settings and ride height after installation.

Installation is straightforward on compatible R12/GT lower A-arm mounts: swap this spring in place of the original and verify full-travel clearance. Recheck preload and damping to restore balanced handling.

Choose an ultra soft spring for tracks with low grip or when you need gentler front bite to prevent sudden snap oversteer. Match damper settings to control roll and maintain stability.
Reduce compression or increase rebound as needed to slow down the softer spring motion. Small step changes and test laps help find the best compromise.
Combine the ultra soft lower spring with slightly higher front ride height and milder damping to encourage smoother weight transfer and steadier turn-in.
