Will these work in plastic chassis without pre-drilling?

They tap into many plastics, but when in doubt make a small pilot hole to avoid splitting thin sections. Pilot holes also help align parts accurately.

Can I reuse these screws after removal?

You can reuse them a few times if the threads and head stay in good condition. Replace any screw that shows thread wear or head rounding to maintain secure joins.

Are these suitable for lightweight alloy brackets?

They are fine for light alloy mounting where the material thickness accepts an M2 thread. Use appropriate torque and consider a washer if the hole is countersunk.
