Durable stainless skid protection for TRAXXAS MAXX

This 38pcs stainless skid plate set has been cut to suit the 1/10 4WD TRAXXAS MAXX W/WIDE MAXX chassis and gives layered protection to front, centre and rear sections under the truck. Plates are formed from stainless steel and hand-polished, combining solid and vented panels to reduce wear and help deflect rocks and debris away from the chassis.

The kit installs beneath the stock chassis without needing destructive changes, using the supplied gold screws and Delrin spacers to fasten to existing mounting holes. It is intended to strengthen the chassis for demanding off-road use and racing lines rather than for any full-sized application.

Mechanical notes: bumper-facing plates at the front and rear are produced thicker to absorb impact, all faces are finished to a metallic polish, and production checks include fit verification and inspection of edge finish on every part.

Does this kit cover the whole underside?

The 38-piece layout provides targeted coverage for front, middle and rear sections but leaves non-critical areas clear to avoid added weight where unnecessary.

Are the screws and spacers included?

Yes. The kit ships with multiple sizes of gold screws and Delrin collars so the plates mount to factory points without extra parts.

Will the plates change ground clearance?

There may be minor changes in clearance depending on how spacers are used, but the design aims to retain the stock chassis profile while improving impact protection.
