M4WD-30/RE 13mm ringless rollers, red anodized

These 13mm ringless aluminium ball race rollers are an aftermarket spare aimed at Mini 4WD hobbyists. The low-profile roller is intended to mount on standard 1/32 Mini 4WD roller stays and presents a compact footprint for tuned chassis. The red-anodized outer body and exposed ball element are the main aesthetic and mechanical features.

Compatibility varies with chassis and mounting method. Use the roller as a direct replacement or aesthetic upgrade on Tamiya Mini 4WD vehicles, checking spacer and screw lengths before securing. Mounting hardware and spacers are not included with the part and must be provided by the installer.

Construction uses a machined aluminium shell around an exposed ball assembly. The ringless geometry modifies how the roller meets guide rails and lane walls compared with ringed designs. Confirm clearances on low-clearance or modified bodies to prevent contact with bodywork or stabiliser parts.

I have been purchasing Tamiya products with Rcjaz for a couple of months now, selection is awesome and service is quick and reliable, considering I leave half way around the world.
Possibly, but ringless rollers sit lower and may contact body or stabilisers on low setups. Measure clearance at the mount and simulate full travel before racing.
A ringless roller lacks the outer retaining ring, producing a slimmer profile and a different edge contact against lane guides, which can alter handling.
The description notes an exposed ball assembly in an aluminium shell. Verify with the supplier whether additional sealed bearings or retainers are supplied.
Anodize provides surface protection, but heavy wear and dirt can change friction over time. Regular inspection and cleaning will keep behaviour consistent.
Prepare standard 13mm roller screws and a selection of thin spacers to set correct lateral position; exact lengths depend on your roller stay and body clearance.
Yes, the machined aluminium look and red anodized finish make them appropriate as visual replacements for display models that do not require sealed bearing performance.
