Aluminium shaft collar for Mini 4WD applications

The M4WD-38/BL is a machined aluminium shaft stopper supplied as a single collar to replace standard plastic retainers on many Tamiya Mini 4WD models. The black anodised finish and turned profile prioritise consistent fitment and resistance to wear rather than changing drivetrain layout.

Hobbyists who refurbish older models or perform frequent maintenance will find the metal stopper holds up better than plastic under repeated removal and refitting. Installation follows the same seating method as the OEM plastic stopper in most chassis arrangements.

Functionally the collar limits axial movement of axle or gear shafts and provides a repeatable bearing or bushing contact surface on MA, MS, AR and related performance frames. Use it for restoration, routine replacement, or whenever a more durable stop surface is preferred.
