17mm ringless race roller M4WD-31/RE for competitive Mini 4WD

This 17mm ringless aluminium ball race roller is supplied as a spare for Mini 4WD models. Designed for performance 4WD racing chassis, it acts as a direct spare or alternative to stock rollers. The ringless inner profile cuts down on internal contact compared with ringed rollers, and tuners will notice differences in rolling response and fit on highly tuned setups.

Compatibility notes: compatible with the common Mini 4WD roller mounts and axles used on racing chassis. It does not represent a full upgrade kit; installers should verify axle diameter and spacer thickness before fitting. It is not recommended for Wild Mini 4WD or Scale Mini 4WD applications, and the tuning advice here applies to chassis types such as MA, MS, AR, FM-A, VS and Super-II where relevant.

Finish and handling: the roller is anodised red and machined from aluminium. Avoid overtightening screws and check lateral movement after initial runs. Regular cleaning and inspection for burrs will help maintain smooth rolling and reduce wear to mounting points.

The roller is aimed at performance chassis and may fit stock mounts, but check axle bore and spacer needs before fitting to avoid incorrect preload or rubbing.
Not necessarily; ringless rollers simply shift which surfaces require attention. Keep bearings and axle seats clean and lubricated for reliable performance.
Performance-oriented chassis such as MA, MS and FM-A commonly benefit, but measure clearance and sweep on your specific setup before competitive use.
Spacer requirements vary by mount; many single rollers do not include extra washers, so plan to use existing spacers or order matching parts.
Mount the roller and rotate by hand while observing lateral play and contact points, then run a short test to confirm no unwanted rubbing at normal chassis flex.
