Oval home circuit with dual-level lane change

The Tamiya 95610 Mini 4WD Oval Home Circuit delivers a lively racing layout thanks to its elevated lane-change section. Suitable for both novices and experienced modellers, the track blends dark curved pieces with light blue straights for clear visual contrast. This boxed set contains the Geo Glider Black Special on the FM-A chassis and the Hexagonite Black Special on the MA chassis, allowing two different driving styles on the same course.

Layout details and race features

When driven over two laps the course covers about 10 metres and the fully assembled footprint measures 216cm by 120cm, with fences roughly 5cm tall. The elevated lane-change forces precise speed modulation and makes races more tactical. The colour contrast also helps with car visibility during close battles.

What the included models provide

The Geo Glider Black Special is fitted to the FM-A chassis, which favours balanced running with a front motor setup. The Hexagonite Black Special uses the MA chassis for a mid motor stance that promotes nimble handling. Both kits are designed for hobbyists to assemble and run without complex modifications.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Track Dimensions: 216cm x 120cm
  • Fence Height: 5cm
  • Chassis Types: FM-A (Geo Glider), MA (Hexagonite)
  • Batteries: Requires four AA batteries (sold separately)
The FM-A chassis in the Geo Glider tends to feel more forgiving on straights due to its front motor layout, making it a sensible starting point for newcomers.
Replacement parts for both the FM-A and MA chassis are commonly available through hobby retailers, so worn components can usually be replaced without buying new kits.
Place the assembled track on a flat, hard surface free of dust and vibration to keep lap times consistent and protect the lane-change sections.
