This 10ml pot of Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver is formulated for model makers who need a clean metallic finish. The water-soluble acrylic resins allow both brushing and airbrushing and bond well to styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood, and most common model plastics.

Application Notes for Clean Results

The paint flows consistently for feathered edges and smooth panels. For airbrushing, thin as needed with Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077 to avoid spattering and to control gloss level.

Will this paint chip on foam models?

On Styrofoam, handle gently and apply thin, even coats. Excessive thinning or thick layers can increase the risk of damage, so test on a scrap piece first.
