Radio-bay alloy servo mount

This aluminium-alloy servo mount is an aftermarket option for Kyosho Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno chassis, designed around standard Hitec and JR servo mounts. It replaces the weaker plastic unit to give a more rigid foundation for the servo, and the set comes with screws and shim washers to help dial in alignment inside the radio bay.

Installation is direct: remove the original bracket, locate the alloy mount in the radio bay, fit the chosen servo and add shims as needed to secure correct spline engagement and horn clearance, then tighten the supplied screws. Shims allow small vertical tweaks to prevent gear mesh or linkage binding without extra modification.

From a tuning view the stiffer alloy keeps servo geometry more consistent under corner loads, which can sharpen steering response and reduce micro-play that affects control on a Mini Inferno. This component is intended for model radio bay use only.

If the servo uses the same hole pattern and spacing as Hitec or JR units it may fit, but compatibility is limited to those standard patterns so check measurements first.
Yes, the mount ships with shims to set vertical position and ensure correct spline engagement and horn clearance, plus the required mounting screws.
The alloy mount reduces flex at the servo mount, which can help steering consistency for tuned setups, though overall results depend on servo quality and chassis adjustments.
