Stiffer steering option for Mini-Z AWD

This aluminium steering assembly is an aftermarket replacement crafted for Kyosho Mini-Z AWD platforms and is supplied as 1set with the steering pin. It emphasises a firmer steering feel and cleaner feedback at 1:27 scale, suited to club racers and hobbyists who want more precise front-end input.

The alloy construction cuts down flex compared with original plastic steering parts, and the supplied pin locks the linkage pivot while keeping standard servo and mount geometry unchanged. The unit is made to align with common Mini-Z AWD mounting points for a simple upgrade path.

Fitting tips: pull the stock assembly, reuse any small linkages or bearings needed, attach the aluminium unit to the stock mounts, and insert the provided pin to retain the steering arm. Use the correct hex sizes and run a slow sweep to check servo horn and suspension clearance.

Tuning benefit: by stiffening the steering linkage, the part helps reduce compliance on grippy tracks so chassis adjustments translate more directly to handling changes.

MZA048 is dimensioned for Mini-Z AWD steering mounts, including MR-03 AWD style; check physical fit on your chassis before final tightening.
Most stock Mini-Z servos handle the alloy assembly, but confirm there is no binding and that the horn clears the new linkage under full travel.
Check the pin and pivot points for play after several runs, keep fasteners secure, and remove grit from linkage joints to avoid premature wear.
