Mini-Z MR-02 / MR-015 Titanium Differential Shaft for Kyosho KZ-05 by 3Racing  [KZ-05]

This is a titanium replacement differential shaft intended for Kyosho Mini-Z cars, carrying the model number KZ-05. It fits MR-02 series (MM and RM) and MR-015 differential assemblies where the OEM shaft form factor is matched.

Function in the drivetrain: replacing the rotating shaft reduces inertial load inside the differential and helps keep gear alignment under quick throttle changes. The result is a sharper transient response that benefits short-track Mini-Z racing and precise indoor driving.

How to fit: open the gearbox cover and differential housing, move the internal differential components into the housing and fit the titanium shaft in place of the original. After assembly, verify gear mesh and rotation freeplay. No special chassis cutting or alteration should be necessary with compatible differentials.

Tuning note: the effect is incremental rather than transformational. Use KZ-05 alongside tyre, gearing and suspension tweaks to hone corner entry, mid-corner feel and throttle recovery on club race tracks.
