Turn-fin brace plate

This 2.5mm carbon fibre plate is an RC-scale replacement designed to reinforce the turn fin area on Pro Boat Miss Illinois U-34 PRB2072T1 hulls. The stiffer panel helps control bending and keeps the fin mounting zone more stable under load.

Installation is intended for the 34-inch Miss Illinois U-34 PRB2072T1 layout; confirm your hull's fin mounting pattern beforehand. The plate locates at the existing fin attachment point and is made to accept the original hardware layout for a secure fit.

Included in the kit: 1 pcs turn fin reinforcement plate, 2 pcs stainless steel cap head screws 3x18. Fit with a correct hex driver and use measured torque to prevent compressing the carbon laminate.

Can the plate handle high-speed runs?

Yes — the 2.5mm carbon fibre thickness is chosen for normal high-speed operation on compatible U-34 hulls. Inspect after heavy impacts and replace if any delamination appears.

The plate has a standard resin finish; rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and check screw seats for corrosion or loosening.
