The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V left its mark on rally stages when it debuted at the 1998 Catalonian Rally. Famous for its wide fenders and rally-focused upgrades, the car driven by Tommi Makinen is captured here in miniature. Tamiya's 1/24 rendition copies signature elements such as the pronounced front blister fenders and the rear fiberglass over fenders that increase the model's width to roughly 177mm.
