Mr Hobby LG113 UV CUT Matt Clear is a lacquer formulated to add a protective matte layer to completed scale builds. The 60ml size covers a number of projects and supplies UV defence that helps maintain colour and detail on painted surfaces.

Why Use a UV Cutting Matt Coat?

The UV additives are designed to limit fading from light exposure and reduce the risk of discolouration. The matt result trims reflections and helps models look more realistic without masking subtle colour shading. Ideal for dioramas and collection pieces where appearance matters.

Spraying and Cure Advice

Apply only over fully cured paint and build the finish in thin passes to avoid orange peel. An airbrush will give a fine, even coat; ensure good ventilation and allow full cure before handling or applying further weathering.
