Designed for MR-4 series servo saver assemblies, the Yokomo SD-200BA replaces stock posts with blue anodized aluminum struts that offer reduced flex compared with plastic items. The kit also supplies matching knurled nuts and a dedicated servo saver spring so the original damping action is preserved.
Mounting and purpose: these posts sit at the point where the servo saver joins the steering linkage, providing a more stable connection while keeping the protective travel that prevents servo damage. The firmer anchor point helps drivers achieve predictable steering inputs when drifting.
Fitting tips: remove the OEM posts and fit the SD-200BA struts, ensure threads engage fully, and lock position with the knurled nuts without excessive torque. The included spring remains responsible for shock absorption, so confirm centring after installation. Make incremental changes to preload and spring seating when tuning steering behaviour.
