The YS-8DA diaphragm shock cap set swaps out the aeration-type L.F Pro cap for a diaphragm-style top that forms a sealed air chamber above the shock cylinder, which helps smooth pressure swings and maintain more consistent damping. That sealed volume reduces the pressure spikes that can change damping feel during travel.

When focusing on durability and reduced maintenance, technicians fit this cap where steady, repeatable suspension response is needed; the diaphragm with its pressure sponge works to temper internal air movement while keeping standard shock oil and piston setups intact. Installation is direct on compatible dampers, placing the cap over the cylinder and fastening with the supplied nut.
