Chassis plate built for MR-4TC SD drift rigs

The SD-002G is an RC-scale graphite main chassis designed as a direct upgrade or replacement for MR-4TC SD chassis and linked drift package configurations. It provides a compact, stable mounting platform tailored to MR-4TC SD layouts used in drift-focused builds.

Produced in graphite to offer a considered balance of torsional stiffness and controlled flex, the chassis is intended to act as the structural foundation for servo, ESC, motor, suspension and drivetrain mounting in MR-4TC SD drift setups while remaining compatible with common drift package arrangements.

Installation suits hobbyists comfortable with MR-4TC SD geometry and uses the existing mounting points on that chassis family. Typical RC workshop tools such as hex drivers will usually be enough for fitment; check the vendor listing for any extra hardware notes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The chassis uses a machining-grade graphite chosen to provide good stiffness while tolerating the typical impacts and stresses of drift driving. Proper mounting and avoiding over-tightening fasteners helps longevity.
Any graphite part can be damaged by severe impacts. Normal drift loads are accommodated, but repeated hard impacts or overtightened screws increase the risk of damage.
Surface wear is possible over time from contact and maintenance. The structural properties of the graphite are not affected by minor surface abrasion.
Light threadlocker on steel fasteners can help prevent loosening, but avoid excess which can make future removal difficult. Use appropriate strength for your hardware.
