Simple air-spray conversion for Gundam markers

The Mr.Hobby GMA01 Airbrush System lets modellers quickly adapt Gundam markers for air-spraying. It hooks an air cartridge and hose to the valve so you can get on with painting without a lot of maintenance between sessions.

Fast marker hookup

Swapping pigments is effortless with the GMA01. Push a Gundam marker into the adapter and you are set to spray, removing the need for repeated cleaning between changes and making it handy for workshop work.

Wide range of finishing looks

Even though it is easy to use, the GMA01 can create smooth base coats, soft fades and masking blends comparable to conventional airbrushing, making it useful for many kit projects.

The design targets Gundam markers so other markers might not fit or feed reliably. If you plan to try another brand, trial on scrap first and check fit.
Routine cleaning is minimal since the marker is the paint source, but wiping the adapter and flushing with a little solvent after heavy use keeps performance steady.
It is great for small to medium scale kits, panel lining, and subtle weathering. For large-area base coats you may need multiple passes or a full airbrush setup.
