The Yokomo MS-412F2 1.2mm front stabilizer wire is aimed at reducing roll and improving front-end response on the MS1.0 platform. It integrates with MSR-010 and MSR-010A builds for a more planted feel through corners.

By limiting unwanted chassis lean, the wire helps the front tyres bite earlier and stay loaded through the turn. The 1.2mm diameter offers a sensible mix of compliance and support for varied track surfaces.

Models Covered and Mounting Notes

Compatible with MS1.0 chassis, especially MSR-010 and MSR-010A, this stabilizer can be used as a direct swap or an upgrade. Installation is straightforward and fits existing mounting points on these models.

Can I use this on a different front end

It was designed for MS1.0 geometry. Other front ends may need custom brackets or bending to match the mounts.

Is 1.2mm a big change from stock

Compared to softer wires, 1.2mm tightens steering and reduces roll noticeably without making the front too harsh on traction-limited surfaces.

Do I need different screws or bushings

Most MSR-010/MSR-010A kits use the required hardware already. Check thread engagement and bushing wear and replace as needed during the swap.

Which surfaces benefit most from this wire

Hardpack and smooth carpet tracks will show the clearest handling improvements; on very low grip surfaces you may need to rebalance suspension to retain traction.
