This aluminium second gear is supplied as a direct replacement for the Mugen MTX-4 buggy gearbox. Manufactured from Hardern aluminium, the 23-tooth gear serves as the intermediate gear and is aimed at scale and performance rebuilds that accept the same tooth profile.

Fitment and role: designed to mate with MTX-4 gearbox internals, the component works with spur and pinion combinations to set final drive ratios. It is not intended as a universal drop-in for unrelated gearboxes.
