The Arrowmax AM-MTX5-H0764 hard clutch spring uses spring steel and is produced as an aftermarket component for Mugen MTX-5 setups. It is intended to replace the stock spring to alter clutch engagement in electric 1/8 scale cars.

Tuning role: this stronger spring raises preload and delivers firmer engagement, which can produce a sharper throttle transition where the standard spring feels too forgiving. Incorporate shoe thickness, bell finish and gear mesh adjustments when refining clutch response.
