The Arrowmax AM-MTX4-T0724 pinion is a 16-tooth, 7075 hard aluminium unit designed for use with Mugen MTX-5 compatible drivetrains. It is supplied as an RC-scale upgrade part to fine tune gear ratio and influence acceleration and top speed in model car applications, not for real road vehicles.

When setting up, the pinion determines final gearing and works together with the spur gear and gearbox internals. Inspect gear faces for any damage, set the mesh so teeth contact evenly across their width, and make sure motor bearings and shaft alignment are free from play. Proper engagement helps avoid early wear and keeps throttle feel predictable.
