This is an RC-scale aluminium rear hub carrier created for the Kyosho Optima 2016 platform and listed as JR-OT13. The part swaps into the rear assembly to give a stiffer mount for the rear suspension and wheel hub while keeping the original Optima 2016 geometry.
Installation uses the standard removal and refit steps common to 1/10 4WD buggies, leveraging the vehicle's existing mounting points. Clean the axle, wheel hex and hub interfaces, then reinstall any removed hex or six-point screws with proper thread engagement. No specialist tools are required beyond common RC hex drivers.
As a tuning component, an aluminium rear carrier reduces flex at the rear hub, which helps make suspension reactions more repeatable during cornering and acceleration. When changing rear roll or anti-squat, check carrier alignment with shock positions and toe components to maintain consistent handling.
