Machined aluminium saver for the Optima 2016

The JR-OT04 aluminium steering servo saver set is produced for use with the Kyosho Optima 2016 chassis and serves the steering linkage assembly. It swaps out the original saver components for precision aluminium pieces that mount into the Optima 2016 steering arrangement and act as the sacrificial link between the servo and the bellcrank.

Fitting is direct on the Optima 2016 steering layout, using the existing saver mounting points and common steering hardware. During installation check alignment and clearances, ensure the saver moves freely through full lock, and verify no contact with adjacent linkages before final tightening.

For setup the saver influences the balance between protection and precision: more preload or firmer link settings increase steering accuracy, while less preload or softer linkage setup increases impact absorption to protect the servo. Adjust in small steps and trial on-track to find the best compromise.
