Sealing Gasket for GT22 Exhaust Joint

The O.S. Engine OS28214400 exhaust gasket is manufactured as an aftermarket replacement for the GT22 exhaust connection, restoring the seal between the cylinder head and muffler flange on glow engines used in RC models. It is intended as a basic service item when exhaust leakage or erratic idle suggests a compromised joint.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the muffler, clean both flange faces to remove old gasket material, lay the new gasket flat against the exhaust port, then reattach the muffler with the original bolts. Do not overtighten, which can distort the flange or the gasket.

During tuning sessions the gasket supports consistent back-pressure and cuts down leaks that can upset idle and throttle response, so it is a useful small part to carry for GT22-powered models.
