This ball bearing is supplied as an RC replacement for the GT33 engine family. It provides the crankshaft with a low-resistance bearing surface to keep rotational movement smooth under typical glow-engine loads.
Installation is straightforward when the seating surfaces are clean and free of contaminants. Press the bearing squarely using a soft-jawed press or a correct-size driver, avoid hammer blows, and add a small amount of engine-safe lubricant to the shaft to prevent scoring at first start-up.
To maximise durability, check the bearing for roughness, noise, or play during scheduled engine servicing. Replace the unit if performance degrades and ensure the crankcase area is free from fuel and dirt to extend life.
