P120 medium-grit sanding drum overview

This HUDY 102591 sanding drum is an accessory for RC truer setups, used to shape and tidy rubber or foam racing tyres. With P120 abrasive it removes moderate material while leaving a controlled surface ready for fine tuning.

The drum fits common truer mandrels and workshop adapters, but confirm your truer’s mounting style before fitting to guarantee secure retention. Fitting is straightforward: mount the drum on the truer shaft or adapter and lock it with the truer’s retainer or collet.

Use the P120 drum during tyre prep to take out high spots, refine tread shape, and neaten bead edges so handling is more consistent. Replace when the abrasive surface smooths out or performance drops off to maintain repeatable results.
