This MINI-Z readyset uses the MR-04 RWD chassis and is supplied complete from the factory with the drive unit assembled and the Porsche 962 C Coupe body pre-painted, plus a 2.4 GHz radio pack included.
The Porsche 962 C was developed in the mid-1980s as a closed-cockpit successor to earlier prototypes and saw competition in series such as the World Sportscar Championship and the North American IMSA category, where its aero-focused bodywork and turbocharged flat-six powerplants were aimed at endurance events.
Emphasis is placed on the readyset format for both display and practical running. The chassis is delivered ready-to-run and the body features period livery. Technical details include measured overall dimensions and wheel/tread offsets noted in the supplied data. The kit provides a 2.4 GHz transmitter and receiver, a set of spare pinion gears plus a pinion tool for gear swaps, along with a wheel wrench and spare nuts for basic servicing. Required batteries are AAA cells for the chassis and transmitter.
A compact RWD MINI-Z readyset styled as the Porsche 962 C Coupe, supplied with measured technical specs and basic tooling for gearing adjustments and upkeep.
