The 100ml Tamiya 89911 PS Anodized Green Spray is produced for use on polycarbonate RC car bodies. It delivers a bright anodized green when sprayed onto the inner surface of clear shells, producing a professional appearance on the track.

Optimised for Transparent Polycarbonate

This paint is tuned for clear lexan surfaces and provides a durable inner coat. Spray from around 30cm away, using sweeping motions to avoid pooling. Let the initial coat harden before adding another to improve uniformity and gloss.

Holds Up to Oils and Fuels

Tamiya engineered this PS anodized formula to resist common oils and fuels, which helps maintain the finish on petrol or nitro powered cars. Allow adequate cure time to achieve the best chemical resistance.

Is this suitable for clear coats or overlays?

The spray is meant as an inner colour coat for lexan bodies. If you plan to add additional layers, test compatibility first and ensure each layer is fully dry.

What is the best technique to avoid runs?

Use short, even passes and keep the can moving. Several light passes produce a smooth anodized look and reduce the risk of runs compared with heavy spraying.
