Stiffer Lower Arm Built for R12/GT Chassis

This hard lower A arm serves as a direct replacement for Yokomo R12 and GT series models where reduced flex is preferred. The denser resin formulation lowers unwanted pivot movement under side loads, helping the chassis retain designed suspension angles through cornering.

Installation is a simple swap for those familiar with basic arm changes: remove the original lower arm, confirm hinge pin and ball stud spacing, move any necessary fittings, and mount the hard arm in the same orientation. After fitting, check full travel, steering geometry, and ensure nothing binds before running the car.

In tuning terms, a harder lower A arm reduces link compliance which sharpens entry and increases predictability on high-traction layouts, but it also moves more load onto adjacent suspension components so adjust spring rates or sway bar settings as needed.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special parts are normally required; the arm follows standard R12/GT series hinge pin and ball stud locations. Still, compare the stock arm and move over any nuts, pins, or shims to ensure correct spacing.
Begin testing with your previous baseline and observe changes in turn-in and mid-corner grip. If the chassis feels harsher, try a slightly softer front spring or reduce front anti-roll to rebalance load distribution.
