Upgrade Details for R12 Links

This rear suspension link set serves as a direct replacement for the Yokomo R12/GT family, intended to correct or tweak rear link geometry on 1/12 scale electric on-road cars. The R12-21L supports the chassis models listed below and links the hub carriers to the chassis mounting points at the rear.

Compatibility is explicit: YR-R12C3, YR-R12C31, YRF-001RF, YRF-001W. The components are designed to drop into the existing mounts without chassis modification, so you can restore factory toe and roll-center settings or explore minor tuning by changing link positions.

Fitting advice: examine mount holes and fasteners for wear before fitting, locate the links in the rear mounts and fasten with the original hardware, then check that alignment is even and the suspension moves freely. For tuning, try small incremental swaps in link placement combined with other rear adjustments to refine balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Start by removing the old links, clean the mounting points, fit the new links into the rear mounts, secure with the original screws, and confirm free travel through the full suspension range.
No specialised tools are typically needed beyond common small hex drivers and pliers; just use care when checking fastener condition and torque.
Yes. Adjusting link placement or pairing links of different lengths can alter toe and roll-center characteristics; make small changes and test to observe effects.
