Replacement M5x8 adjustment screw for R12/GT chassis

This anodized M5x8 set screw is produced as a direct replacement for the spring-tension adjustment used with inner-spring lower arms on Yokomo R12 and GT series 1/10 scale chassis. It offers a lightweight aluminum alternative while retaining the original thread form and mounting location.

Fitting is straightforward: insert and thread the screw into the existing adjustment point on the lower arm, confirm smooth engagement and the required preload on the spring, then check full travel and clearance. The part is intended for ride-height and preload adjustments only and will not alter spring stiffness or damper characteristics.

Ideal when converting to inner-spring lower arms or when you want a lighter, more consistent adjustment screw for setup and workshop maintenance.

Yes. The screw is sized to replace the original adjustment screw on the R12 and GT model variants shown in the compatibility list.
Light threadlocker can be applied if you want to secure the setting, but avoid heavy use that prevents future adjustments. Threads do not require grease.
No. This screw controls preload and ride height only; the physical spring rate remains unchanged.
