Key features of the graphite brace

This graphite upper brace is built as an accessory for 1/12 scale racing chassis and accepts rear friction-type shocks on compatible setups. It supplies a secured, drilled mounting area so the rear shock assembly remains fixed while you adjust suspension characteristics.

Swapping to this brace changes how rear loads are distributed, influencing roll and pitch during cornering. Installation involves basic removal of the rear tower components and use of everyday hand tools; orientation and the selected hole position control the shock stroke and leverage. There are no electronic parts included.

Before fitting, check compatibility with your chassis layout and inspect the part for any machining debris or sharp edges that might affect fit or the friction surface.

Remove the existing upper brace or clear the shock tower, align the pre-drilled holes with your tower pattern, then secure with standard screws. Reassemble any removed parts and check shock stroke after mounting.
Choosing a different mounting hole changes the shock's leverage and effective stroke, allowing you to tune how much rear suspension compliance and body roll occur under load.
Measure tower geometry and verify hole spacing before fitting. Also clean the area and remove any burrs so the friction surface and fasteners seat correctly.
