Overview of the sensor lead

The Yokomo YOKRP-011 Racing Performer 180mm Brushless Sensor Cable functions as a dedicated sensor link for brushless motors fitted with hall or encoder sensors. It keeps the motor sensor connected to an ESC input without adding electrical load or signal processing.

Use cases include electric touring and on-road cars where tidy wiring and dependable sensor signals are important. The 180mm length suits many common motor-to-ESC layouts, offering enough slack for routing without excess wire inside the chassis.

For installation, avoid running the sensor lead alongside high-current power cables, fasten it with tape or a small tie, and check connector orientation prior to making the final connection. If connectors differ, use an adapter or carefully re-terminate the lead using appropriate solder and heat shrink.

Sensor wires do not change motor output by themselves, but secure, noise-free wiring supports consistent ESC timing and smoother control under high RPM conditions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The 180mm length offers a compromise between reach and tidy routing, making it easy to position the sensor connector without tight bends.
The lead uses a small sensor plug suited to common brushless motor and ESC sensor inputs. Confirm the plug style on your motor and ESC; if they differ, fit an appropriate adapter or re-terminate the cable.
Keep the sensor lead routed away from heavy gauge power wiring and motors to reduce interference. Securing the cable and using separate routing channels helps preserve signal integrity.
