The Yokomo RPM-D2155RR Racing Performer DX2 Type-R Brushless Motor arrives in red and is developed for competitive drifting. As part of the DX2 range it offers high rpm behaviour and vivid anodised colours, with available turns spanning 11.5T to 15.5T and finishes in blue, purple, red and black.

Reinforced Rotor for Long Service Life

DX2 motors use a reinforced rotor ring to reduce the risk of magnet damage, improving longevity during repeated runs. A 200mm sensor lead is supplied for flexible routing and tidy installation across many chassis formats.

Track Results and Variants

Yokomo proved the DX2 concept at world level, using a prototype 11.5T to win at WTDC in Malaysia. For everyday track use the 13.5T delivers balanced handling on tiled surfaces, while the 15.5T provides stronger low end and midrange power.

Will this motor fit my existing bell and mount?

Check can diameter and mounting hole pattern; the RPM-D2155RR uses a 12.5mm can and common mounting standards, but confirm dimensions against your chassis before purchase.

Is the sensor lead easy to extend or relocate?

The supplied 200mm sensor wire gives room to route to most ESC positions. If you need a longer lead use a suitable extension and maintain correct polarity when connecting.

How does the 15.5T compare to lower turns for drift?

The 15.5T offers more torque and easier throttle control for slides, whereas lower turn motors rev higher and suit very high speed or technical layouts where top end rpm matters more.
